The Missouri City Juneteenth
Celebration Foundation (MCJCF) has partnered with long-time supporter Wells
Fargo to endow a series of annual scholarships in their name. Other companies
that have contributed to the scholarship fund include Wal-Mart, Villagers
20/20, and H-E-B.
The scholarships
will be available to students residing in the Fort Bend/Missouri City area
based on both merit and financial need.
“We should afford our babies, our future, every opportunity to improve and
grow. Helping them to educate
themselves is a worthy effort”.
